Margaret S. Lanning, 100 years old, of Roseto, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday November 4, 2005 at Easton Hospital, Wilson Borough, PA. Born on September 1, 1905 in Oxford, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Harriet Dalrymple Thatcher. Mrs. Lanning had lived in Washington, Warren County, NJ most of her life before moving to Roseto 20 years ago. Mrs. Lanning was a homemaker and had enjoyed embroidering. She was a member of the Washington Alliance Church, Washington, NJ. Margaret was the wife of the late Russell Lanning who had died in 1968. Surviving are a daughter, Adeline Dans and her husband John of Roseto, PA; a granddaughter, Christine Noto of Johnsonburg, NJ; three great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. A grandson, Brent Dans and a granddaughter, Kathleen Mayberry had died earlier. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the charity of one�(TM)s choice.
