Obituary of Lorraine A Unangst

Lorraine "Tootie" A. Unangst, 86, of White Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 1, 2016 at the Care Center of Lopatcong with her loving family at her side. Born in White Township, NJ on March 7, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Harry B. Stout and Sarah Castner Stout. Tootie had helped her late husband, Oscar, on the dairy farm known as the Unangst Farms, before becoming a fulltime homemaker. She was a member of the Buttzville United Methodist Church, serving as the organist and choir director for over 28 years. She had been active with the Belvidere Rotary Club as a "Rotary Ann". In addition to her parents, Tootie was predeceased by her husband, Oscar who died on October 26, 2015; three sons, Kenneth, Oscar and Timothy; a brother, Harry Stout; a sister, Erma Coopersmith. Surviving are her daughter, Debbie Herb and her husband Jeff; a son, Harry; several grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will follow in the Buttzville Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday and 10:00 AM to the time of service Wednesday at MacFadden Funeral Home.
