Johanna "Jo" D. Inscho, 85, of Mountain Lake, Belvidere, NJ, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016. Born on August 22, 1930 in Harmony Township, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Christel E. Denker and Johanna Oertel Denker. Jo was an administrative assistant at Hoffmann-LaRoche for 15 years before retiring in 1993. She was a graduate of Belvidere High School, Class of 1948. Jo was a member of the Free Union United Methodist Church; a Life member of the Mountain Lake Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary; a member of the American Legion Post #131 Auxiliary, Belvidere; past Captain of the marching unit of the former Cedarettes of Forest #14, Tall Cedars of Lebanon. Jo was a volunteer for Meals-on-Wheels. She had a passion for quilting and reading. She enjoyed snowmobiling with her husband, Red, in Maine and Potter County, PA., and their camp in New York State for boating and 4-Wheeling. Jo enjoyed living at Mountain Lake and above all she loved her husband and family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her eight siblings; Dorothy Cressman, Violet Dugans, Lydia Kichline, Walter, Chris, Harold, Norman and Roy Denker. Surviving are her husband of 35 years, John "Red" Inscho; a son, Brent A. Reitz and his wife Jennifer; a daughter, Donna L. Reitz; step-children, John Inscho and his wife Jodee, Michael Inscho and his fiancé Diana Ceaser, and Lori Inscho; four grandchildren, Calvin, Mitchell, Russell and Katee Inscho; two great-grandsons, Mason Conner and Austin Carter; many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Free Union United Methodist Church, 3 Marble Hill Road, Great Meadows, NJ 07838. Friends may call from 10:00AM to the time of service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere, NJ.
