Donald D. Pelletier, 73 of Hope Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, NJ. Born on July 17, 1943 in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, he was the son of the late Pea Pelletier and Aline Michaud Pelletier. Don had been a machinist for Ideal Industries of Hackettstown, NJ before retiring. In addition to his parents, Don was predeceased by his brother, Val. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Beatrice M. (Potvin) Pelletier; a son, Dennis Pelletier, a daughter, Joy Daubert and her husband Rory; three grandsons, Christopher, Johnny, and James; six brothers, Gaston, ReJean, Gille, Charles, Alain, and Luc; one sister, Francine; many nephews and nieces. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at St. Patrick R.C. Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ under the direction of MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere, NJ. A Celebration of Donald's life will continue immediately following at the American Legion Hall, 122 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ.
