Obituary of Steven Zwarych

Steven Zwarych, 87 of Belvidere, NJ passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at St. Luke's Warren Campus. Born on November 2, 1929 in Allamuchy Township, NJ, he was the son of the late Steven and Katherine Debaylo Zwarych. Steven retired from the State Police of New Jersey Marine Division in 1990 after 30 years of service. He was an avid hunter and a member of the Pleasant Valley, PA Gun Club, a life member of the NRA, and a member of the Lehigh Valley ATV Association. Steven was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Olga and Ann and a brother, Nicholas T.. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Zwarych, whom would have celebrated 39 years on June 6, 2017; a son, Terrance Zwarych and his wife Doris of Blairstown, NJ; a daughter, Cherilyn Frei and her husband David of Cannon Beach, OR; grandsons, Christopher Zwarych and his wife Susanna of Oxford, NJ, and Cody Zwarych and Amy Shutter of Jefferson, NJ; one great-grandson, Carter Alexander Zwarych; several nephews and nieces. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, June 9, 2017 at St. Patrick R.C. Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will follow in the Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, June 8, 2017 at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ.
