Frank DeStefano, 84, of the Brookfield section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully on November 8, 2017 at home with his loving family at his side. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 PM Saturday and Sunday November 11th and 12th at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:45AM, Monday, November 13, 2017 at St. John Vianney R.C. Church, Inman Avenue, Colonia, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Inman Avenue, Colonia, NJ. Born in Rahway, NJ, Frank was the son of the late Frank and Anna Carbonaro DeStefano. He had moved to Colonia, NJ where he lived for 38 years before moving to Belvidere, NJ in 2001. He was a 1951 graduate of Rahway High School. Frank attended Lincoln Technical School before serving in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Purolator Products in Rahway, NJ, then worked and retired as Purchasing Agent for Woodbridge Township. He was a parishioner and usher at St. John Vianney Church for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved fishing, hunting, golf, and his family. He loved spending summers at his Ocean Gate home with his family and friends. He was also president of Brookfield Adult Community for many years. In addition to his parents, Frank is predeceased by his brothers, Anthony and Ralph, and a sister Marie. Surviving are his devoted wife and best friend, Mary Cesario DeStefano; three daughters, Maria and Kevin Maroney, Columbia, MD, Nancy Quinn, BlueBell, PA, Lisa-Ann and Dennis Smith, Washington, NJ, who all believe he was the best father in the world; five grandchildren, AJ and Francesca Maroney, Thomas Quinn, Jessica and Alex Smith; a brother John; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; cousins. All loved him dearly.
