Obituary of Florence Howell

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother. Florence Howell passed away on Tuesday May 27, 2025 at her home in Belvidere.

Born October 11,1936, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel Miller. She is predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Earl Howell.

Florence had many jobs during her lifetime, the one she enjoyed the most was driving a school bus for DCF Regional School Warren Campus. She enjoyed bowling, water skiing, watching her beloved New York Yankees, San Fransico 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers, and Nascar. Her favorite thing was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter JoAnne Post and husband Eric; son Stephen Howell and wife Ximena; grandchildren, William and wife Catherine, Christopher, Derek, Viviana; great-granddaughter Kimmy; sister Sandy Rasley and husband Myron.

 A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
