Thelma I. Osmun, 83, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025, at St. Luke’s Anderson Campus, Easton, PA.

Born on November 8, 1941, in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Eva (Anthony) Trach.

Thelma was a childcare provider for many years before retiring.

In addition to her parents, Thelma was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Richard Osmun, Sr.; a son, Richard Jr.; a sister, Shirley Wentzell; a brother, James Trach.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna Fortin and her husband Kevin; daughter-in-law, Tracy Osmun; three grandchildren, Tara Spence and her husband Michael, Alycia LaBar and Ryan Osmun and his companion, Alyssia Berger; eight great-grandchildren, Kadin, Savannah, Makayla, Avery, Cole, Adelyn, Mikey, and Alivia; a sister, Barbara Kern; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 20, 2025, at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will follow in the Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ. Friends may call from 9:00 AM to the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in Thelma’s memory to the Belvidere Ambulance Corps, 234 Paul Street, Belvidere, NJ  07823.
