Donald C. Palmer, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on October 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on March 13, 1953, Donald was the son of the late Richard and Jeanne Palmer.  He was raised in Cedar Lake, Denville, NJ, and was blessed to grow up in a large, close-knit family. In recent months, he spent time with his six siblings and their spouses, remembering the many happy days they shared growing up at the lake.

He worked in the cable TV industry for 20 years and was most recently employed by Paramount Facility Management Solutions in Branchburg, NJ.

Don was a lover of nature, American history, and the Boston Red Sox. His sharp wit and sense of humor will forever be remembered and missed.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Maribeth (McDonald) Palmer, and their children: John Paul Palmer and wife Valerie of Belvidere; Julie McElroy and husband Jordan of Belvidere; and Andrew Palmer and wife Brianna of Iowa. He was the cherished Pop Pop of Benjamin, Lucas, and Andrew. His favorite times were spent playing, creating, and exploring with them - his best buddies. They will miss him dearly and treasure the many adventures they shared.

He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses, James Palmer and wife Annie, Richard Palmer and wife Cathy, Thomas Palmer and wife Kim, Andrew Palmer and wife Terri, Amy Strapec and husband Ty, Beth Ackerman and husband Chris - along with many dear nieces and nephews.
