Obituary of Kenneth J. Richards

Kenneth "Ken" Richards 71, of Belvidere, NJ passed away while at home on November 4, 2025.

Ken was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on December 21, 1953. He was the son of late Kenneth "Tuck" Richards and Virginia Katherine (Smith) Richards.

A 1972 graduate of North Hunterdon Regional High School, Ken was a distinguished athlete who received a baseball scholarship from Grand Canyon College in Phoenix AZ having earned his bachelor’s degree in 1976. Ken enjoyed a successful career in the heavy construction industry where he served as a construction foreman advancing to the role of superintendent.

Ken was a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Ken most enjoyed spending time with family and friends. An avid sports fan, Ken loved time spent on the golf course having traveled the country playing golf.

Surviving is a daughter, Lindsey Richards of Belvidere, NJ; son, Joseph Richards and wife Aga of Easton, PA; brother, Joe Richards and wife Gayle of Glendale, AZ; sister, Karen Richards Staples and husband Gary of Easton, PA; grandchildren, James, Brynn, and Amelka.
