Thomas (Tommy) C Mottola, 59 of Belvidere passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, January 3, 2026.

Tommy was born on March 25, 1966. He was the son of the late Joan and Mike Mottola.

Tommy grew up in Long Valley, NJ where he attended and graduated from West Morris Central High School in 1984.

He was a proud member of WMC first State Championship football in 1982.

He was an avid NY Mets and Jets fan. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

Passions included spending time with his beloved family and his dogs and cats who he considered his children.

Tom was a master carpenter and never hesitated to help family or friends who needed a project done around their home.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife Cindy S Mottola (Perrine); stepsons, Mikey and Raymond; granddaughter, Kaylie; mother-in-law, Peggy J Perrine; loving brothers, Lou, Mick and their spouses Ellen and Lynn Mottola; sisters-in-law, Carol, Katie, Cheryl and spouses; beloved nephews, Michael (wife Jess and great niece McKenzie), Kevin, Steven and many more extended family members that adored him. 

Tommy will always be remembered for his infectious personality and the great love he had for his family, friends and pets.

A Christian Wake Service will be held 7:30 PM, Friday, January 9, 2026, at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere NJ 07823. Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM to the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tommy’s name to Eleventh Hour Rescue (https://www.ehrdogs.org)
