Mary Patricia Murphy, 89, of the Brookfield section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ and formerly of Rockaway Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was a stay-at-home mom to her seven children. She enjoyed cooking and reading in her free time.

Mary was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Edward J. Murphy, who died in 2012.

Surviving are her seven children, Leslie (Tom), Edward Jr.(Kelly), Colleen, Kevin, Timothy, Sean (Cathy), and Erin (Jim); nine grandchildren, Stephanie, Danielle (Tom), Shannon (Mike), Megan (Josef), Michael (Ann), Matthew, Ryan, Caitlin and EJ; two great-granddaughters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Friday, February 13, 2026, at St. Patrick R. C. Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ. Friends may call from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Friday at the MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to St. Luke’s Hospice C/O Development Office, 801 Ostrum Street, Bethlehem, PA  18015.
