Condolences
Lynda was truly amazing. I have such fond memories of 4-H and the incredible impact she had on our kids. She was a tremendous asset, and her absence will certainly leave a void. Still, I know these programs will continue — just as she would have wanted.
May the Lord bring you comfort during this difficult time. Please know she is at peace, and we hold on to the hope that we will all be together again one day.
Pease,
Klinger Family
Q: What was one of the qualities of Lynda that you loved most?
A: Lynda, no matter what the subject, you were not afraid to say the truth with humor and seriousness. You didn't judge, you made me feel seen, heard, loved, encouraged and supported. Until we meet again.

Lynda was a tremendous presence for decades in 4-H. She will be missed.
May you find comfort and peace knowing that she is home now watching over her grand babies. She’s safe in the arms of Jesus.
Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
I’m so very sorry for your loss and pray for strength for you all during this difficult time.
As one of the many whom she hosted as surrogate mom, I have cherished memories of visiting the Matthews. One time, someone had brought over freshly caught seafood (including massive king crab legs), and a group of us cracked into them with gusto! It was always a treat to come out: Mrs. Matthews’ hospitality and delightful zingers will be deeply missed, even as they continue to inspire.
Dearest Anna, I'm so sorry to read of the loss of your Mom and glad to read of her life and ministries which were quite extensive. I only knew her as a cancer victim so thinking on these accomplishments and services I'm so happy that she is w/o that wheelchair, cancer and pain and that you have such wonderful memories to reflect on as you grieve. I've sent the obituary onto my friend Karen Woodcock who used to work in the lab at Hackettstown Hospital as they might have worked together. We pray for the peace and the joy she now experiences to fill your minds and hearts. Hugs pat and lou dipalma
Q: What will you never forget about Lynda?
A: When I came to the Hoving Home, I was an overwhelmed, broken woman. Lynda welcomed me with open arms and a big smile. I will miss our talks as well as the couple of summers at the retreat in Ocean Grove. I will miss you, Lynda.
Love, Nicole Massa
I loved hanging out with Lynda at state 4-H events. I met her when her daughter was just starting out in 4-H.
She will be missed.
