Myrtle Eleanor Dunster, 87, of Belvidere, NJ passed away on May 7, 2026, at St. Luke's Warren Hospital.

Myrtle was born on March 30, 1939, in Carteret, NJ to Frank and Myrtle Pirigyi. She married her husband Ronald Dunster in 1960, and they raised their three children in Carteret. Ron and Myrtle moved to Allentown, NJ in 1986 where they were both involved in the community. In 2023 Myrtle moved to the Brookfield Glen Community where she connected with her neighbors and enjoyed her last years bowling, playing cards, and traveling.

Myrtle is survived by her daughter Nancy Donoughe and her husband Daniel; son Allan Dunster and his wife Kim; brother Albert Pirigyi and his wife Kathy; grandchildren Kevin and Kimberly Donoughe, Amanda Carmina and her husband Joe, Matthew Dunster, Aimee, Sean, and Allison Crawford; great-grandchildren Ava and Jack Carmina; sisters-in-law Rosemary Dunster and Carrie Noble; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald; daughter Patricia Crawford; and brother Francis Pirigyi.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at MacFadden Funeral Home.  Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Myrtle’s name to Deborah Heart and Lung Center 200 Trenton Rd., Browns Mills NJ 08015.
