Obituary of Helga Ziegler

Helga Ziegler, 93, a long time resident of Belvidere, NJ, passed away May 13, 2026. She was the wife of Willi Ziegler whom she shared 51 years marriage and will be remembered for her beautiful spirit and loved by everyone that knew her.

Born August 20, 1932 in Hanau, Germany, the daughter of Erich and Emilie (née Noll) Merkel. In addition to her husband and parents, she’s is predeceased by her sister Lisalotte Helck.

Helga is survived by her daughters Barbara Ziegler, Christine Williams and husband Robert, Diane Ziegler. Grandchildren; Melanie Stephany, Erik Stephany, Robert Whelan, Gregory Whelan, Matthew Gratacos, Nicholas Gratacos, Michael Gratacos and 11 beloved great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held in her honor at Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere NJ.
