Condolences
To those who had the honor of knowing Andy my heart goes out to you all as well as mine ! Andy walked into my Salon on Mansfield one day with Sara 25 years ago for Haircuts. Ever since then Andy has stopped in almost every day and sat and chatted with me sometimes a half hour sometimes three hours! So as was we chatted and laughed and always spoke of anyone in need and or in bad health or just his stories of his life , and the church and all his friends and students and teachers and the hunting club. He certainly did live a full life of memories and he kept them all in his heart . It was an honor to have those years with him !!! He was caring and giving and did all he could to make anyone laugh !! I WILL MISS YOU DEARLY ANDY !! Virginia Ann Marie
Andy and Sara were my God-Parents and i knew both of them my entire life as I am 70 years old now. After I graduated from Belvidere High School in 1973, I headed to Lynchburg College in Virginia. I majored in Physical Education and was also certified in Driver's Education and Adaptive P.E. After college I taught PE for 44 years in the Nelson County School System in Lovingston Virginia. But my best years were being a successful high school basketball coach for 38 year, just like my God Father Andy Mark. My career choice was definitely influenced by him. My husband, Marvin Martin, also was a successful high school coach. Andy and him had many good coaching stories to share. Perhaps those stories will resume when they meet again in Heaven. I will always remember him. Prayers for all friends and family.

My deepest deepest condolences to the family of Andrew M. Mark, words of comfort for all can be found and read in the bible books of Revelation 21:3,4 and John 5:28,29 words of comfort for all can be found and read in the bible books of Isaiah 33:24 it tells us that very soon NO ONE at anytime will be saying “I am sick”
Q: What will you never forget about Andrew?
A: My four years of high school. Wonderful years. Mr Mark was a great teacher and a very great man in my eyes. So patient. I'm very sad to hear this but I know he had a good life because he did good things. Rest in peace Mr Mark
Mr Mark and Sarah Andrews Mark were two very special teachers that impacted my life while attending BHS. Years later, I would see them shopping at Boscov’s in PA and we would chat.
Later, on a hot summers day in June, I was picking strawberries at Races farm. I kept smelling this cigar smoke drifting toward me, and couldn’t imagine who was smoking while picking. An elderly gentleman on his knees turned and there I saw Andy Mark! A remarkable man. A lasting impression of living life fully!
