So sorry to hear of your loss. I will really miss having Kirk lead us through the streets of Belvidere in our weekly Tuesday and Thursday walking club. He was always in front and walked real fast and I would be in the back. He walked even when it was really cold, and the wind chill felt like below zero, or in the summer when it felt like 100 degrees.

He always had such a love for his country and organizations he belong to. And would always be looking for ways to help out people and the community. When walking if he saw a need that he thought someone may need to get them to a better situation in life, he found ways to get the person help. He went the extra mile for his community and friends alike. The only time he would leave walking club was if he had a call from the ambulance squad .
