Obituary of Marie “ Sis Weaver

Marie �,“Sis�,” Weaver, 98, of Glen Gardner, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Country Arch Care Center, Pittstown, NJ. Born on January 7, 1915 in Pembroke, Bermuda, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Daisy Matthews. Mrs. Weaver had been a machine operator for American Can Company, Washington, NJ for many years before retiring. Previously she was a sewing machine operator for the former Washington Hosiery. �,“Sis�,” had enjoyed sewing and crocheting. �,“Sis�,” was predeceased by her husband, John P. Weaver, Sr., who died in 1984. Surviving are her children, John P. �,“Butch�,” Weaver, Jr. and his wife Shirley, Thomas E. �,“Brother�,” Weaver, Harris C. �,“Hot-Rod�,” Weaver and his wife Ruth Ann, and Roxann Philhower; a brother, Ivan Matthews; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
