Cynthia R. Bottomley, 73, of Great Meadows, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy, NJ. Born on May 24, 1939 in Union, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Rosenberg and Mary Klinger. Ms. Bottomley was a graduate of the Somerset Community College School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and was an educator in the nursing department at the Warren County Vocational Technical School. She had also been a nurse for the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice. Preveiously, in the 1970�,�(TM)s she owned the Mountain Greenery, Belvidere, NJ, which helped pay for her nursing education. Surviving are her daughter, Regan Bottomley and her husband Patrick Harrison; a sister, Carol Helt; a niece, Mary Karpinski; a nephew, Joseph Fortunato. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the S.P.C.A. or American Cancer Society. Even at death, Ms. Bottomley continues to help others with her eye donation to the New Jersey Sharing Network. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Cynthia R. Bottomley.
