Obituary of Eleanor J. Rodenbaugh Mickalowski

Eleanor J. Rodenbaugh Mickalowski, 85, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the Care Center of Lopatcong, Lopatcong Twp., NJ. Born on August 11, 1927 in Belvidere, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Paul C. and Gladys Mae Allen Rodenbaugh. Eleanor was a cafeteria worker at Hoffmann- LaRoche before retiring. She was a 1945 Graduate of Belvidere High School. Eleanor was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Liberty, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and the Good Will Fire Company Auxiliary. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, John Mickalowski; an infant daughter, Rose; brothers, Carl, Paul (Dutch), and Dale (The Skipper) Rodenbaugh. Surviving are two daughters, Lana Mickalowski of Belvidere, NJ, and Marie Miller and her husband Paul of NC; grandchildren, Kurt Miller, Carla Miller, and Keith Miller and his wife Michelle; great-grandchildren, Makana, Colson, Peyton, and Kenzi; sister-in-laws, Joyce Rodenbaugh and Jean Rodenbaugh; brother-in-law, Clinton Lusk. She will be sorely missed by her family. Eleanor was always encouraging and positive, especially with her grandchildren.
