Obituary of Hazel May Hornbaker Guth

Hazel May Hornbaker Guth, 103, formerly of Allentown, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Care Center of Phillipsburg, Phillipsburg, NJ. Born on June 13, 1910 in Oxford Township, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William and Clara Seals Hornbaker. Mrs. Guth had been a store manager for Leaner Stores in Allentown, PA and Cherry Hill, NJ for over 35 years before retiring in 1975. She was a graduate of Belvidere High School and Churchman Business College, Easton, PA. Mrs. Guth was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, Allentown, PA. Hazel was predeceased by her loving husband, Harold L. Guth who died November 1998; a brother, Harry Hornbaker, who died 2000; a sister, Evelyn Hoff, who died 2004. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all of the dedicated staff at the Care Center of Phillipsburg.
