Janet was a friend and confidant. She called me a friend and sister. I will cherish many fond memories of her and she is forever in my heart. She was a very special person and she touched many lives here on this earth. She will be greatly missed and I am praying for everyone that is left behind.
It has been my great privilege to have known Janet. She was a warm, friendly person with a great sense of humor. She loved theater and music and attended the many band and swing band concerts that her daughter Dee and I have played in over the years. She was a good friend with whom I most recently enjoyed attending a musical theater production at Bangor High School. As with all who knew her, she will continue to live on in our memories.

I will remember my trips to New York best when I was child for class trips with her, we would go to a Chinese Restaurant which didn't look very clean we would say but its dirty and she said to us but they have the best food in town the group would laugh We saw each other when I was an adult I called her Mrs Crisafulli ,she told me that I was no longer a child and adults address each other by their first names. Each time after that encounter we laughed when we saw each other to see what I was going to call her.

My sympathy to the family. What a wonderful, beautiful, sweet angel heaven now holds! Always a smile and kind word.
It is with a heavy heart and great sense of emptiness that I give my condolences on the passing of my Eastern Star Sister, my “Mother” Janet. I was in Rainbow with Dee and Janet joined Star the same night as my mother and I. She was District Deputy when I was Worthy Matron, thus the “Mother” title. She’d always call me “my child” and in many ways she reminded me of my own mother. She, Jane Sturdevant and I shared many great times together in Atlantic City at Grand Session, laughing till my face and sides hurt! Her love and pride of her family was unmeasurable. She talked about them every time we were together and she would just beam! I’m comforted in knowing she’s now with her beloved Tony who you could just tell she loved and missed deeply. You all have an angel watching over you now. I’ll miss her kindness, soft voice and exuberant zeal for life. God be with you all.
