James L. Wintermute (Jim), 83, of White Township, passed away peacefully on Monday June 12, 2023.  Jim was born on August 8, 1939, in Dover, NJ to Walter and Katherine Wintermute (Vanderhoof).  He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Wintermute, three sons and their respective spouses: Bobby Wintermute and Carol Lowinger; James and Susan Wintermute; and Richard and Priti Wintermute.  He was also blessed with three grandchildren: Aimee, Christopher, and Alexander.  Jim was predeceased by his mother Katherine, brother Walter, and sister Mary.

After high school, Jim worked at several local industries, including RCA Records, Casio, and ultimately retiring from Carnrick Laboratories.  After retirement, Jim continued to work for NAPA Auto Parts in Belvidere.

Jim was devoted to his entire family. He enjoyed bowling, baseball, playing bingo & bocce at the clubhouse, and traveling with Brenda.  Most of all, Jim enjoyed the company of his many friends and family.  His outgoing and cheerful nature will be missed by his neighbors in the Brookfield Estates community, the many friends he made throughout his life, and most of all, his family.
