Obituary of Shirley Fay Feilbach

Please share a memory of Shirley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Shirley F. Feilbach (93), longtime resident of Harmony and Broadway, NJ, passed away at her home on August 25, 2023 with her family by her side.  She was born in Phillipsburg, New Jersey on July 24, 1930 and grew up and lived out her years in Warren County.

Shirley was a lifetime member of the Delaware Chapter #50, Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed supporting her late husband Robert as he fulfilled his duties as a Master Mason.

In addition to camping with her Masonic Family, Shirley enjoyed traveling the country in her motorhome and camping with her children and grandchildren.

In her spare time, Shirley was an avid knitter, crocheter and quilter, designing and making many beautiful projects throughout the years for family and friends.

Shirley enjoyed playing games, Aggravation being her game of choice over the last several years. Many hours of laughter were spent with family and friends around her kitchen table.

Shirley loved her dogs, talking fondly of her past Pekinesses’, Pixie and Andre and spending her final years with her pomeranian, Chipper. Shirley loved sitting outside with her dog(s) as she watched her son, grandson and husband at the family shop, Feilbach’s Welding.

In Shirley’s final days she wanted her family to know she loved them all a thousand times over.

She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Robert E. Feilbach, her mother and father Earl and Evelyn Hoff, of Harmony, her brother and sister in law William and Lois Hoff of Harmony and Vero Beach, Florida, her brother Harry Hoff, of White Township and a special son-in-law, Kenneth Sylstra of Washington.

She is survived by her beloved pomeranian, Chipper; her daughters, Judy Ann Toribio and husband Anthony of Lehighton, PA, Peggy White and husband Tom of Topsfield, Maine; her son, Jim Feilbach and wife Donna of Easton, PA; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren with her ninth on the way; her sister-in-law Barbara, of Belvidere; and several nieces and nephews.
