Ruthanne 'Cherry' Hosterman, 60, of Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. Born on October 2, 1951 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Sarah F. Cole Bush. Cherry and her husband, Jim had owned the Hosterman�,�(TM)s Food Mart, Belvidere before retiring four years ago. Cherry was a member and past president of the Good Will Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Belvidere, NJ. She was an avid reader and mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Cherry was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Bush. Surviving are her husband of 33 years, James L. Hosterman; two daughters, Rita Gardner of White Twp., NJ and Lisa Buhl of Belvidere, NJ; three step-sons, C. Daniel Hosterman of Upper Mt. Bethel, PA, James L. Hosterman Jr. of Annapolis, MD, and Michael Hosterman of Belvidere, NJ; ten grandchildren; three sisters, Linda Carman, Karoyle Cramer, and Sue Tredway; a brother, George Bush. Contributions are requested to be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Good Will Fire Company, 689 Water Street, Belvidere, NJ 07823.
