Obituary of Matthew Ryan Bocchino

Matthew Ryan Bocchino, 26, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, PA from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in July. Born on September 21, 1985 in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of Richard and Michelle Smickle Bocchino of Belvidere, NJ. Matt had been a tow truck operator for Rossnagle's Service Center, Phillipsburg, NJ. He was a graduate of Belvidere High School and proudly served in the US Army during the Iraq War. Surviving in addition to his devoted parents are his wife, Hayley Valent; his loving son, Ian Paul Bocchino; a sister, Rachel; two brothers, Anthony and Nicholas Bocchino; paternal grandfather, Richard Bocchino and his companion Diana Hill; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Rheva Smickle: three aunts, Leia Smith and her husband Bryan, Donica Petrucelli and her husband Domenic, and Theresa Smickle; cousins, Damien Latourette, Bryan Smith, and Amber Bowser.
