Ingrid Hoffmann, of the Brookfield section of White Township, passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, August 12, 2010. She was 76. Born in Kiel, Germany on April 11, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Ella Gertrude (Koch) and Heinz Karl Dahlmann. Mrs. Hoffmann immigrated from Germany in 1952 She had lived in Wayne and Hudson, N.H. before moving to the Belvidere area ten years ago. Mrs. Hoffmann worked as a seamstress for many years, and as the bookkeeper for a Steel Rule Die company in Paterson NJ and Hudson NH. Surviving are her brother, Heinz Dahlmann of Boston; a son-in-law, David Felder of Rockaway; and a grandson, Ryan Felder. Mrs. Hoffmann was predeceased by her daughter, Linda H. Felder, and her husband, Gerhard Hoffmann. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society at 669 Littleton Road, Parsippany, NJ 07054-4834.
