Jesse D. Yohe, 94, of Columbia, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 04, 2010 at the Slate Belt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Roseto, PA. Born on May 26, 1916 in Martins Creek, PA, he was the son of the late Harry and Mabel Hawk Yohe. Mr. Yohe had served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Mr. Yohe was a plant manager for Par Tac Peat, Great Meadows, NJ. Previously, Mr. Yohe was a dairy farmer and a milk carrier. Mr. Yohe was a member of the American Legion, Post 131, Belvidere, NJ since 1945. He was also a 50 plus year member of the Slate Belt Quoits League. Mr. Yohe also had enjoyed golf and hunting. Mr. Yohe was predeceased by his wife Thelma K. Yohe, who died on May 30, 1995. Surviving are two nephews, Michael and Thomas Yohe; a niece, Frances Galvin.
