Dorothy M. Crane, 89, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Gracedale Nursing Home, Upper Nazareth, PA. Born on March 5, 1921 in Phillpsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George M. and Addie Batey Hall. Mrs. Crane had worked many years for IMCO Container Company, Belvidere, NJ before retiring. She was a member of the American Legion Post 131, Ladies Auxiliary and the Good Will Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary both in Belvidere, NJ. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband William F. Crane who died December 12, 1985, and two sisters, Jenny Buck and Flora Mills. Surviving are three sons, William F. III of Nazareth, PA, Richard of Belvidere, NJ and James of Bangor, PA; two grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in her memory to Good Will Fire Co., 689 Water Street, Belvidere, NJ or Belvidere Ambulance Corps, P.O. Box 128, Belvidere, NJ 07823.
