Obituary of Heike Wessner Sherrer

Heike Wessner Sherrer died at Easton Hospital on Sunday, March 6, 2011 after a long illness. She was 57. Born in Bremerhaven, Germany on July 19, 1953, she was a resident of Wilson Borough for over 30 years. Ms. Sherrer was employed by the ARC of Warren County for eight years until retiring in June 2010, and previously a foster parent for the Concern Foster Agency for over 10 years. She was predeceased by her father Stanley Wessner in 1998. Survivors include her daughter, Allyson Palinkas of Wilson Borough; her mother Helga Wessner of Easton PA; her sister Anke Redden of Carlisle PA; her brother Barry Wessner of Belvidere; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested by the family in her memory to The Arc, Warren County Chapter, Inc., Post Office Box 389, Washington, New Jersey 07882.
