Cecilia M. Romeo, 85, of the Brookfield section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Chelsea at Brookfield. Born on September 14, 1925 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Clotilda Fargnoli Leone. Cecilia was predeceased by her husband Nicholas Romeo who died on December 3, 2000 and a brother, Jules Leone. Surviving are a son, William Romeo and his wife Martha of Allentown, PA; a daughter, Kathryn Lawler of Belvidere, NJ; two grandsons, Steven and Andrew Romeo; a brother, Tony Leone of Morristown, NJ. Contributions are requested to be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
