Obituary of Anthony Brandl

Anthony Brandl, 78, of White Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the Warren Haven Nursing Home, Mansfield Twp., NJ with his loving family at his side. Born on March 12, 1933 in Gant, Hungary, he was the son of the late Joseph and Johanna Schull Brandl. Mr. Brandl had lived in Germany after WWII moving to the United States in 1950. He had lived in Riverdale, NJ for over 40 years before moving to White Township six years ago. Mr. Brandl was a tool and die maker by trade. Mr. Brandl was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ. He was a former member of the Sport Friends Soccer of Passaic. Mr. Brandl was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Brandl was predeceased in addition to his parents by his siblings, Martin, John, Julianna and Wendel. Surviving are his wife, Johanna Tatusch Brandl; son, Gareth and his wife Mona of VA; a daughter, Diane Wilson and her husband Richard; four grandchildren, Patrick, Cory and Tyler Wilson and Remington Brandl; four brothers, Mike, Joe, Matt and Frank; five sisters, Rose, Ann, Marie, Kathy and Carol; many nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in his memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 532 Lafayette Road, Sparta, NJ 07871 or St. Patrick R.C. Church.
