Doris B. Fuller, 93, of Asbury, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 15, 2001 at Warren Haven Nursing Home, Mansfield Township, NJ. Born on September 28, 1918 in Hazen, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Herman B. Burd and Verna Stopp Burd Gregg. Mrs. Fuller was a wage administrator for Union Carbide Corporation, Bound Brook, NJ for over 33 years before retiring in 1977. Doris was a 1940 graduate of Rider University. She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church. Doris was predeceased by her husband Robert, who died in 1990; a brother, Walter Burd; a sister, Helen Wirth. Surviving are two nephews, Douglas Wirth of Middlesex, NJ and Timothy Wirth of Asbury, NJ. A Graveside Service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Lower Harmony Cemetery, Harmony Township, NJ under the direction of MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Asbury United Methodist Church or the charity of one's choice.
