Douglas F. Whiteside, 76, of White Township, NJ, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the Care Center of Phillipsburg.
Born on January 21, 1939 in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Frank W. Whiteside and Bina Linaberry Whiteside.
Doug had been an Industrial Machine Operator for American Can Company, Washington, NJ form many years before retiring.
Doug graduated from Roosevelt High School, Honolulu, HI and attended Weber State College, Ogden, UT.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era.
Doug was a member of the Belvidere United Methodist Church, Belvidere.
Surviving are three brothers, Ronald of Martins Creek, PA, Larry of Bath, PA, and Frank of Apopka, FL; a nephew, Mark; a niece, Valerie Holjes; several cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ under the direction of MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere.
