Betty J. Ball, 67, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at her home. Born on August 4, 1948 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Stopp and Margaret Sutton. Betty was a graduate of Belvidere High School, class of 1966. She was an administrative assistant at Hoffmann-LaRoche, Belvidere, NJ for many years before retiring. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, John F. Hildabrant, Sr.. Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Richard J. Ball, Sr.; a daughter, Lori Horton and her husband Tobiah; a son, Richard J. Ball, Jr. and his life partner Laura VanGilder; a grandson, Lynedon Horton; sister, Bernadette Crane. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will follow in Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ. Friends may call from 1:00 PM to the time of service at the funeral home.
