I’m so glad for all the times I had with you. Even in the darkest of moments you would lighten the mood. I didn’t even know how much pain you were in, you hid it so well. Even our last day together you laughed and joked to make us happy, I wish you were here. I will miss seeing you walk up to my house, I will miss seeing you and hearing you say hey Cher. I will miss your long goodbyes, you never wanted to let me go, I was always welcome for dinner even if you didn’t have enough for me too. You helped me with everything I ever wanted to get done around the house or the yard. I am going to try to be as helpful as you were, I’m going to try to learn like you did, and most of all to have some of your perseverance. I will miss you for all the rest of my days. I love you Dad.
