In Loving Memory of Reinaldo Martinez, Sr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Reinaldo Martinez, Sr. who was surrounded by the love of his wife and daughter, Zenaida Martinez and Emily Cartagena. He departed this world on January 1, 2024.

Reinaldo was a man who cherished time with his loved ones, despite the profound loss of his son, Reinaldo Martinez Jr.

Reinaldo was someone who had a caring and generous heart. He will be greatly missed by those fortunate enough to be touched by his kindness.

In addition to his wife and daughter, Reinaldo leaves behind two adoring grandchildren who were a constant source of joy in his life. He is survived by his sister, Lydia Mercado, along with his nieces and nephews.

The memory of Reinaldo will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were privileged to know him. As we mourn his passing, let us celebrate the love and compassion he had in helping others.

Calling hours will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, January 7, 2024, at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ, 07823. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Monday, January 8, 2024 at St. Lucy’s R.C. Church,  118 7^th Avenue, Newark, NJ, 07104. Following, he will be laid to rest at Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Avenue,  Bloomfield, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests monetary donations be made to Zenaida Martinez.

May he rest in peace, reunited with his son and parents in eternal serenity.
