Obituary of Henry Polanczyk, Sr.

Henry Polanczyk, Sr., 73, of Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on Monday February 12, 2024. Born in Germany to the late Kazimiera “Kash” and Boleslaw  “Benny” Polanczyk on January 16, 1951. The family moved to the US and settled in NJ when Henry was just 1 year old. Henry was a loving and loyal husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was cherished by all who knew him.

Henry worked as a mechanic and electrician through the years prior to his retirement.  He enjoyed junk collecting and e-baying, but most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandsons who are his pride and joy. Henry loved to tinker with things both large and small, there was nothing that he couldn’t fix.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in his death by his brother, Stephen Polanczyk.

He is survived by his loving wife and companion for 50+ years, Pearl Polanczyk, children Henry Polanczyk Jr., Jill Polanczyk and husband Joseph Martin, and Janeen Bergmann and husband Stephen Bergmann, as well as grandsons Joshua Polanczyk, Donovan Bergmann and Cameron Martin.

Calling Hour will be held from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday February 16,  2024 at MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere, NJ to be followed by a 12 Noon Graveside ceremony and burial in Belvidere Cemetery for anyone who would like to pay their respects.
