I had the privilege of commanding Ken twice in my Army career. He was a smart, dedicated officer who could always be counted on to complete any assigned task or duty. We served together in Teaneck and Somerset. He commanded my Headquarters Company in the Division Support Command and took great care of our soldiers.
In between deployments and his hectic work schedule, Ken was also a World War Two historian and reenactor. He attended battle reenactments at Ft Indiantown Gap and most recently at Hazleton, PA. He shared stories around our campfire and was a great friend to the guys in our WW2 unit. He will be missed and remembered fondly by all who knew him. Photo is of Ken at Ft Indiantown Gap walking back in from the field.

Sir
I still can not believe it. You are no longer here. So many memories with you. From Iraq to Kuwait to Ft Dix (helping withe the OWT program telling me to keep pushing for it) to when I ran into you at Ft Belvior( you wrote me a great letter of recommendation that I still have) and even keeping in contact with with me after retirement. You were a great officer great leader and a great friend. This world lost a great person. Until Valhalla brother RIP. NEVER FORGET
