Obituary of Leonard Entrabartolo

Leonard Entrabartolo (Lenny), 87, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the Care Center of Lopatcong.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Thursday, June 6, 2024 at St. Patrick R.C. Chruch, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

Lenny was born in Newark, NJ on September 12, 1936 to the late Joseph and Agnes Entrabartolo. He attended East Side High School and joined the U.S. Army serving from 1957 to 1963. He worked as a truck driver for over 30 years and was a Teamster Shop Steward and Vice President of his Teamster Local. He served a volunteer fireman and chief driver of Mechanicsville Hose Company, South Amboy, NJ. Lenny had coached the South Amboy Sabres Pop Warner football and South Amboy Little League teams. 

Lenny was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere and served as an Eucharistic Minister. He was a former parishioner and Eucharistic Minister at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Agnes Entrabartolo; his first wife, Betty Lou; sisters, Edith Urso and Bernice Dante.

Surviving are his wife, Ingrid Entrabartolo; son, Leonard Entrabartolo, Jr. and his wife Zsuzsanna; step-sons, Robert and Eric Reper; grandsons, Nicolas Entrabartolo and his wife Sarah, Paul and Mark Entrabartolo; step-grandchildren, Matthew, Erin and Sarah Reper.
