Obituary of Paul Michael Letsak

Paul Michael "Mike" Letsak, 75, of White Township, NJ, died Wednesday, September 18, 2024, in Hackettstown, NJ.

 

Born in Berlin, MD, he was a son of the late Paul Letsak and Barbara Louise Letsak Seiple.

 

Paul was employed as a chemical operator for Hoffman LaRoche/DSM until his retirement. After retiring, he stayed on at Hoffmann LaRoche as security, and did the same at Triple Brook Campground in Blairstown.

 

A devoted father and grandfather, as well as lifelong hunter and fisherman, Mike enjoyed target practice with his grandkids in addition to cheering them on through all their activities. In his spare time, he would often watch the History Channel, or meet up with the guys in town at the Lower Falls and talk about the politics of the day with his latest Trump hat on.

 

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Winona (Matlock) Letsak; daughters, Tonja Smith and husband Donald, and Tara Mourry; grandchildren, Julie and fiancé Wesley, Ryan, Nicholas, Matthew and Christopher, all of White Township; sister, Pat Hanson; brothers, Russell and Jeffrey Letsak.

 

A celebration of Mike's life will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Harmony Bible Fellowship Church, 2603 Belvidere Road, Harmony Township, (Phillipsburg), NJ  08865.
