Obituary of Frederick Adelman

Frederick Adelman passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024,  at the age of 92.

Fred was born in Wanaque on February 2, 1932.  He was predeceased by his second wife Blanche Adelman; His first wife Lorelle Storms and their beloved children Diane and Frederick Adelman.

Fred is survived by his step children Nancy Lucchesi and her husband Paul; Frederick Wordelman and his girlfriend Barbara; and Janet Brummell; his cherished grandchildren Samantha Brummell and her husband Eric Gargiulo and their son Owen, Rachel Marulanda Brummell and her husband;  Kimberly Evans and her husband Erik Evans and their son Oliver, and grandson Frederick Wordelmann; his beloved sisters Lois and Sheila; his cousin Beverly, and nephew Ed.

Fred grew up in Wanaque and then resided for many years in Towaco. Fred served in the US Navy as a gunner and was honorably discharged after several years of military service. He was a route sales representative for Hostess for over 30 years.  He later retired to Belvidere where he enjoyed his retirement at Brookfield Estates with many friends and neighbors, playing cards, and bingo. He loved traveling with his wife Blanche Adelman to Alaska, Hawaii, the Panama Canal, and many other cruise line destinations, trips to the local casino and Meadowlands track.  Spending time with his family was important to him and he was always up for a game of cards.

A special thank you to his many caregivers, nurses, and doctor at Bristol Glen and hospice.
