Obituary of Annick R. DeMoss

Annick Ruth (Nickki) DeMoss, 73, of Belvidere, NJ passed away on Thursday, Novemeber 28,
2024 at the Lopatcong Care Center in Lopatcong, NJ.

Born on November 15, 1951 in Plainfield, NJ, “Nickki”, as she was known, was the daughter of
the late John and Jeanine (Porcherot) Hendershot. She graduated from Middlesex High School
and went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the State of West
Virginia. Nickki was both a pre-school teacher at Harmony Cooperative Nursery School and a
personal aide for Warren County Special Services School District. She was an avid reader and
loved horses and dogs.

Nickki is survived by daughters Hannah DeMoss and Brittany DeMoss of Belvidere, NJ.
Step-daughters Stephanie DeMoss of Silver Spring, MD and Jessica Saraiva and husband
Victor of Gilbert, AZ. Nieces Michelle Boyer and husband Richard of Bethlehem, PA, Renee
Hachey of Bedminster, NJ and nephew George VanPelt and wife Holly of Bethlehem, NJ ; many
cousins and friends.

Nickki is predeceased in death by her husband Walter J. DeMoss, parents
John and Jeanine Hendershot, and sister Chantal VanPelt.

A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Macfadden Funeral Home.                                                                                                                   

Friends may call from 5:00 PM to the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Nickki’s memory to The Seeing Eye of
Morristown NJ.
