Virginia "Ginnie" Auble Tyson, 102, of Washington, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2014 at her home with her caring aid Josephine at her side. Born on December 2, 1911 in East Orange, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Floyd L. Auble and Katheryn Drake Auble. Virginia had lived in Convent Station, NJ before moving to Washington in 1971 to be closer to her family . Virginia was predeceased by her first husband Henry W. Mulholland who died in 1959 and her second husband Robert E. Tyson who died in 1991. Ginnie graduated from Chatham High School in 1929, attended secretarial school in New York City and worked for various law offices in New York City before going into banking. Ginnie had enjoyed watching baseball, listening to the radio, playing bridge and spending time with her family. Mrs. Tyson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Oxford at Hazen. Virginia was predeceased by sisters, Helen A. Tyson and Elizabeth A. Thomas; a half sister, Mildred Andrews; a half brother, Delmont Auble. Surviving are nieces, Marjorie Thomas Bush and her companion, Raymond VanWhy, Virginia Thomas Detweiler and her husband Donnie and their children, Katie, Kirsten, Shane Ross, and Troy, Gretchen Riddle; a nephew, Edward Auble. Contributions are requested to be made in Virginia's name to the First Presbyterian Church of Oxford at Hazen, P.O. Box 45, Delaware, NJ 07833.
