Richard L. Fisher (Dick), 84 of the Country View section of White Twp., Belvidere, NJ, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 at St. Luke's Warren Campus, Phillipsburg, NJ. Born on October 11, 1929 in Somerville, NJ, he was the son of the late Leon Oscar Fisher and Marian Abbie Killiken. Dick was a graduate of Washington High School. He served in the US Army from 1948 to 1952. He was a postal clerk for the US Postal Services in Washington, NJ for over 30 years before retiring in 1984. Dick enjoyed gardening, charity work, watching football and was an avid NY Giants fan. Dick was a 50 year member of the United Methodist Church of Washington. He was also a life member of the American Legion, Post 103 in Washington, NJ. Dick was predeceased by a sister, Kathryn Fisher Melberger. Surviving are his companion of many years, Mary Skyler and her daughter Debby; two sons; three grandchildren. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Richard L. Fisher.
