Verla May Calsetta, 87 of the Chelsea at Brookfield, White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the Chelsea at Brookfield. Born on August 12, 1926 in Macomb, IL, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Arthur and Grace Staumah Arthur. Verla had been very active with the Nutrition Center in Belvidere, NJ and received an award for her volunteer services. Verla had lived in the Country View section of White Township for over 14 years before moving to the Chelsea at Brookfield. Mrs. Calsetta was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ. Verla was the wife of the late Douglas Calsetta who died in 1999. Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Allen and her husband Bud of Belvidere, NJ, and Linda Laskey and her husband Chris of Easton, PA; seven grand- children; seven great- grandchildren; a sister, Reba Woodward; two brothers, Vic Tatham and Rex Tatham all of Maccomb, IL.
