Doris M. Specht, 88, a resident of the Care Center of Lopatcong, formerly of Belvidere, NJ, and the Country View section of White Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Care Center. Born on February 16, 1926 in Oxford, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Smith and Mary Smith. Doris had worked for many years at M & M Mars in the human resource department before retiring. Doris had served as treasurer for both the Oxford Senior Club and the Country View Club House. Doris was predeceased by her husband Frederick who died in 1989. Surviving are three children, Nancy Learn of Nazareth, PA, Frederick Specht and his wife Sherry of Mt. Bethel, PA, and Robert Specht and his wife Marilyn of Milford, PA; six grandchildren, Lisa Learn, Autumn Learn, Zachary Specht, Sarah John- son, Katie Lazzaro, Robert S. Specht.
