Condolences
Just learned about the passing of Mr. Tarazona. My condolences to all the family and particularly to Nancy. I also taught Spanish and French at BHS and Mr. Tarazona is the one who taught me how to handle the Club Advisory for the French Club. Later on when he retired, I took the advisory for the Spanish Club, La Alianza Iberica. He always remembered to send us a Christmas card. I will miss him and pray for his eternal rest.
I have very fond memories of Mr. Tarazona. I was his student in the late 90s as well as a member of La Alianza Iberica 1995-1999. He was such a kind hearted man and dedicated teacher. He was part of the reason why I decided to also become a Spanish teacher! He was so passionate about the Spanish language and culture & I learned a lot from him! May he rest in peace and prayers to his family!
Love,
Luisa
Señor Tarazona- Descansa en Paz y vaya con Dios. I will not soon forget all that you taught me and I am grateful for it as I reflect back on how much I learned from you often in my daily life and work. Great memories from La Alianza Iberica especially my winning the El Gran Queso in a cheese tasting contest! It was just a few years ago we met again at a Memorial Day BBQ - turns out you were a friend of mine's neighbor. Not having seen me in years- You remembered me as Catalina immediately. To The family of Mr Tarazona- my deepest condolences and thoughts and prayers to you all. Katherine Malenczak(Wollner) Bloomfield NJ
Dear Nancy,
Even though I've only known Vince for 6 months, he found a special place in my heart! He and I shared a love of History, Native American culture, and our favorite author...David Balducci and his mystery books! We had so many invigorating and interesting talks, usually about sports or the latest good book we'd read! I looked forward to seeing Vince on Fridays at Selah. I will think of Vince whenever I read the NY Post, and remember with a smile how he always asked me to cut out the entry forms for the contests in the Post! He will be remembered and missed always. May he rest in Peace. I pray you and your family will find comfort in your happy memories!
Sincerely,
Cheryl DiLiberto
