Dorothy I. Miller, 94 of Wind Gap, PA, formerly of Effort, PA and Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at St. Luke's Anderson Campus. Born on March 26, 1920 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Walter Ott and Cecilia Smith Ott. Dottie was a 1938 graduate of Belvidere High School and a 1942 graduate of Trenton Teachers College. She was a high school history teacher in Belvidere and Blairstown, NJ. She also was the senior library assistant at the Warren County Library before retiring. Dottie was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ and had served as past president of the Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Belvidere Women's Club. Dottie was predeceased by a son David and four brothers, William, Raymond, Edward, and Donald Ott. Surviving are her husband, Bernard J. Miller; four children, Katherine Lorimer of Edgewood, WA, Dennis Miller of Effort, PA, Christopher Miller of Belvidere, NJ, and Theresa Talbot of Seattle, WA; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; a brother, Howard Ott.
