Frances J. Borkowski, 97, of Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Care Center Lopatcong. Born on July 20, 1917 in Great Meadows, NJ then resided in Belvidere, NJ since 1977. She was the daughter of the late Tony and Josephine Cardell. Frances worked for M & M Mars in Hackettstown , NJ for 20 years retiring in 1977. She was a volunteer for the Senior Citizens Nutrition Center in Belvidere, NJ. In 2011 she received the Outstanding Senior Citizen of Warren County award. She was predeceased by five siblings and one grandchild, Melissa. Surviving are two daughters Barbara Zmyewski of Belvidere, NJ and Peg & John Schubnel of Easton, PA, a sister Jean Godfrey of Washington, NJ, three grandchildren Lenny, Sue, and Matt, and seven great grandchildren.
